I’m surprised not to see Blackwell’s in Oxford. It’s the only bookshop in the world that makes me swoon with joy, whenever I go there.
I love looking on a stall for old books. Would love to visit some of these places.
They are all so beautiful! I would absolutely love to visit all of them.
wow.
Beautiful images!
Ebooks will never, ever replace the joy we get from holding and reading a book. I have so enjoyed looking at all your photos, such a wonderful collection of book stores and reading places! Books are my escape, they are my education, and my pleasure. So wonderful! Thanks for sharing such wealth with us. 🙂
I often go to the Last Bookstore in LA whenever I could. 😊 Glad it made your list since its a dying breed. I love going to bookstores and browsing around, find one cozy quiet-not-so quiet spot and read. Having the book in hand and turning the pages rather than swiping left or right. 😊
