Okay, so I have no idea if I liked this movie or not. The critics seem to pretty much hate it.
The thing is, this is quite a strange movie. The premise is good, the first hour of the movie is quite good. You got your “end of the world is near and everyone dies” scenario, a bit of drama, a bit of hope, it’s quite interesting. The acting is good.
But then it all falls apart. It’s as if everyone got bored. Things happen very fast, and the only happen as to reach the same conclusion that is somehow predictable from the moment you read about this movie for the first time.
If only there would have been a genuine plot twist somewhere in the there. Someone should have called M. Night Shyamalan.
I still don’t know if I enjoyed this movie or not. I could have done better things, yes, but it wasn’t a complete waste of time. I don’t know. I don’t even know if I should recommend this movie or not. I’m super confused. Maybe this was what this movie was all about. Confusing us to the point of not knowing what to do with our lives.
Or maybe not.
